I'm in support of your petition, Tesco is the largest supermarket in our town and the alternative choice is a High Street Co-op or Aldi. We are in a developing area with the introduction of a major transport link and the area is ideal for supermarkets such as Morrisons or Sainsbury. Check us out

Despite two seperate and well signed local petitions, Tesco has successfully appealed to site a 'Tesco Express' in Pontyclun, S. Wales even though what Tesco are offering is already available in the village, and if a private individual had applied for the same planning permission it would have been refused by the council. By the way, Tesco has an 'Extra' store about 1.5 miles away!

The people of inverness need to make a stand against this supermarket, superpower. the councillers of inverness are all in tescos pocket. Which dosent suprise me one bit. So the Tesco monopoly is set to continue in Inverness. For Tesco to have four stores is far too many. Is the Highland Council still in bed with Tesco's to allow this? Why does Asda keep on being rejected while Tesco seem to get everything they want in our city. I say no to another Tesco store, but support the request for Asda to build a store in Inverness. Surely this will bring heathly competition instead of the Tesco strangle hold.
