I just hope and pray that one day we consumers will realise what a pact with the Devil we make when we shop till we drop at supermarkets. Until we value things like individuality and sound ecological and ethical practices in the production of the goods we buy, we'll carry on buying everything at rock bottom prices, and take the air-conditioned, piped-music route to a spoiled environment. And if you don't think that food is too cheap already, look at the number of obese people here and in Western Europe.

I now live in Milton Keynes, and previously have worked for Tescos, and as well as importing crap foreign goods they are also responsible for a good percentage of the immigrants to these shores, and greed is what drives them. So be prepared Inverness for an influx of cheap migrant workers. New labour means cheap labour!!
